ARK Recording Studio is a private recording studio that specializes in Christian music production.
ARK is conveniently located between Baltimore and Washington DC, and minutes away from the Arundel Mills Mall in Hanover Maryland. At ARK, our goal is to produce high-quality Christian recordings at an affordable price in a comfortable and professional recording environment. We use the latest 64-bit Avid Pro Tools music production software, matched with our modern and sleek Avid C|24 recording console, and connected to a dedicated high-speed internet connection, allowing us to collaborate with musicians, producers, and studios across the world!
Our 15×8 vocal-booth has been carefully built to capture the accuracy and detail needed for a killer lead vocal track, while large enough to record a small ensemble or live band. Our array ofprofessional studio microphones are among some of the finest microphones ever built, including names like Neuman, Lewitt, AKG, AUDIX, and more.
Our dedicated drum-booth is outfitted with a Pearl Masters MCX drum kit secured on the Pearl DR503C ICON Rack—a staple for the most demanding drummer! The set is complimented with trusted brands from manufactures such as Yamaha, Zildjian and Sabian, all brought together with a pair of Zildjian 13” hi-hat cymbals, a Sabian 10” splash cymbal, Sabian 16” and 18” studio crash cymbals, a brilliant 20” Zildjian custom-hybrid ride cymbal, and a defining Yamaha sub-kick for low-end detail and resonance.
